Fantasy cricket guide: picking your T20 eleven

How match by match fantasy cricket works: 11 players on 100 credits, roles, captains, and how runs, wickets and catches score.

In fantasy cricket you build a new team for every match. Pick 11 players from both sides and score from every run, wicket and catch.

Team rules

  • 11 players on 100 credits.
  • Between 1 and 8 of each role: wicket keepers, batters, all rounders and bowlers.
  • At most 10 players from one team.

Captain and vice captain

Your captain scores 2× and your vice captain 1.5×. Together they usually decide your result.

How points are scored

Scoring follows the Dream11 T20 table: runs, boundaries and sixes, batting milestones, wickets and bowling bonuses, dot balls, maidens, catches, stumpings and run outs, plus economy rate and strike rate bonuses. The full table is on the cricket rules page.

Five tips for every match

  1. Check the pitch and the toss: some grounds favour pace, others spin.
  2. All rounders score in two ways and are often the best captains.
  3. Top order batters face the most balls.
  4. Death over bowlers take many wickets in T20.
  5. Wait for the confirmed lineups before the deadline.
